Facial Plastic Surgery Associates MedSpa offers the latest skin care therapies that can help slow down the appearance of aging and restore that youthful glow, all in an environment of relaxed elegance combined with professional expertise and leading edge technology.

Working directly with Dr. Russell Kridel, our MedSpa provides the level of professional treatment that salons and spas offer, with the advantage of using products and procedures only allowed within a physician's office. Dr. Kridel, is a triple board certified facial plastic surgeon and has written over 100 journal articles on facial plastic procedures. He has been the beta test site for several laser procedures and he has taught hundreds of physicians across the U.S. and other countries on injectable and laser techniques.

Deep Pore Facial: Deep pore facials are beneficial for all skin types, male and female, to achieve an overall facial rejuvenation. The customized treatment will help to nourish your skin by stimulating blood circulation. This technique helps to slow the aging process and minimize signs of aging, such as fine lines and wrinkles. The tailored treatment will include a deep cleansing and prepping of the skin for extractions. The extractions are detailed and thorough, and done with the utmost of expertise as to not break or damage the skin. We also include a light, superficial Chemical Peel according to your specific needs. This treatment is beneficial because it targets specific problems, such as breakouts, dehydration, fine lines and many other skin problems with no significant downtime. We follow up with a masque to hydrate, calm and firm the skin. After the treatment, your skin will be glowing and clean. This treatment is recommended every 4 – 6 weeks.

Dermaplaning: Dermaplaning, also known as blading, is an effective exfoliating technique of the removal of superficial skin cells and hair on the surface of the skin with the use of a blade. This non-traumatic method of skin rejuvenation, removes the outer most layers of dead skin cells leaving the skin immediately smooth, supple and vibrant. The treatment can be performed every 3 - 4 weeks. Dermaplaning the skin actually removes about 2-3 weeks' worth of dead skin cells, assisting in the skin's natural exfoliation process.

Vitalize Peel®: Vitalize peel® addresses various skin conditions, such as pigmentation abnormalities, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, melasma, and photodamage with little or no or down time. It helps smooth fine lines, surface damage, as well as mild acne scarring. Vitalize Peel® helps fight the effects of time, sun damage, and environmental assaults. This powerful yet non-damaging peel can take years off aging skin.

Rejuvenize Peel™: Rejuvenize Peel™ is a step up from the Vitalize Peel®, with an advanced formulation to penetrate the uppermost damaged layers of the skin. With minimal downtime of 5 -7 days, you will reveal fresher and healthier skin. The peel is effective for skin with sun damage, melasma, pigmentary changes and acne scarring. Similar to the Vitalize Peel®, there is noticeable improvement with just one peel, but significant results in completing a series.

Melanage™ minipeel: The Melanage™ minipeel is a superficial peel that uses Hydroquinone and Vitamin A to dramatically lighten brown spots (hyperpigmentation), stimulate collagen production, diminish breakouts, as well as exfoliate layers of dead skin to reduce the appearance of fine lines and pore size. The use of weak acids combined with potent non-acidic ingredients allows us to treat patients with all skin types.

Microdermabrasion: Microdermabrasion is a mechanical exfoliation that has been found to enhance cell renewal and to increase collagen production. Microdermabrasion leaves skin with a fresher, more glowing look. For best results, it is recommended you get a series of treatments returning every 4 to 6 weeks.

Fraxel re:store DUAL ®: Whether you have sun damage, wrinkles or other signs of age, a series of Fraxel RE:STORE DUAL® treatments delivers remarkable results with fast recovery, so you can quickly return to work or other activities with renewed skin and renewed confidence. Fraxel RE:STORE DUAL® treatment creates smoother, fresher, healthier, and younger-looking skin, while also improving the tone, texture, pore size, and giving an overall softening to wrinkles and lines. Fraxel RE:STORE DUAL® treatment affects a fraction of skin at a time with thousands of microscopic laser columns. The technology delivers the optimal balance of dramatic results and little to no patient downtime --- a combination that didn't exist before Fraxel RE:STORE DUAL® treatment.

Diolite™: Diolite™ Laser treatments can help to eliminate everything from prominent tiny red veins on the face and nose, to extensive vascular birthmarks, such as port-wine stains, to brown "age spots" on the face.

Laser Hair Removal: The future of laser hair removal has arrived in our office. With our new LIGHTSheer™ Duet, the advanced technology delivers the optimal balance of high speed hair removal and little to no discomfort --- a combination that didn't exist before. Finally, you can have all of your unwanted hair removed fast and virtually pain free. And, it is good for all skin types. Full legs and backs can now be treated in less than 30 minutes and underarms in less than 15 minutes. With the LIGHTSheer Duet's more efficient energy delivery, you will not need numbing cream for larger treatment areas. If you have hesitated in getting laser hair removal in the past, hoping comfort levels would go up while treatment times went down, your time has now come.
