Mid-face sagging is a predominant component of aging in men and women. Dr. Kridel is at the forefront of a new technique to correct this problem with a new, minimally invasive, procedure called the cheek lift or cheek suspension.

As we age, the fat and soft tissues beneath the facial skin gradually fall, giving the appearance of being tired or sad. As Dr. Kridel explains, "Cheek suspension elevates the cheek fat pad, carrying the skin with it in the middle portion of the face and adding volume to the mid-part of the face. The procedure is done by lassoing the fallen cheek pads with two suture loops and then resuspending them in the temple area. These loops effectively pull the cheek fat pad up with reasonably long-term results." The recovery period is quite short, with most patients returning to normal activities in a week to ten days.

For those patients desiring a full facelift, Dr. Kridel utilizes a technique that produces a very natural-looking result with inconspicuous incisions and no loss of hair tufts in the incision areas.
