Low complication rates and negligible resorption rates tend to support the use of IHCC in nasal surgery. Despite excellent results with low resorption rates in patients fol lowed up for up to 84 months, the potential for future resorption is well recognized. Long-term follow-up will be completed to fully define the role of resorption and fibrous replacement on the overall success of IHCC in augmenta tion nasal surgery.
